TFH in the Indy Community

The Father's House loves representing Jesus Christ to the city of Indianapolis...

...And to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD)

Each year, we host IMPD Roll Call at The Father's House. Over 200 IMPD officers from multiple districts hold their roll call meeting at our church. We serve them a meal and bless them with a gift before they head back out into the streets of Indianapolis. Many local businesses have joined our efforts to show their appreciation to the men and women who risk their lives for us every day.

We're also the church who worked with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #86 to provide 1500 life-saving Trauma Kits to IMPD officers. From organizations like the Indianapolis Colts, WellPoint Anthem BlueCross/BlueShield and PNC Bank...to young kids who emptied their piggy banks and sent money with handwritten cards...the entire Indianapolis community has stepped up to help make this happen. Within 24 hours of the first kits being distributed, an IMPD officer was able to use his to save the life of a young child shot in a drive-by shooting. Within days, an officer used his Trauma Kit to save his own life he was shot in the leg. While we're sad that these kits are being used so frequently, we're so grateful that we've been able to see to it that the officers were equipped with what they needed to get the job done -- and save lives. As word spreads about what we've done, cities across the country are asking us how they can do this for their police forces. Who says one church can't make a difference!

...And to Our Neighborhoods

Each summer, we organize Prayer Walks through neighborhoods - we pray as we walk, and we make ourselves available to anyone who would like prayer. This has been very well received, and the people in our local community have begun to look forward to seeing us each summer, sharing testimonies of how God is touching their lives. Watch our Facebook Page for information on how you can walk with us!
